In 2008 eBay.com.au changed the payment methods that could be accepted. This affected all eBay sellers but in particular smaller sellers who didn't want to accept PayPal due to the high fees. With this change sellers have moved to other sites or had to stop selling whilst they set up their own websites.

There are also smaller and hobby sellers who enjoy selling online through various avenues like eBay, oztion or classifieds but don't have a web site. Or, have stores on various sites and want one place where people can see what they have for sale.

This is where AussieSellers.com came from, it was a temporary or long term solution for sellers who wanted a webpresence. By sellers joining together we can help each other rank in search engines, indirectly promote each other and show how great Aussie online sellers are!
